Alan Lim is a Partner at NEXEA, an early Startup Accelerator, Angel Network, and Venture Capital. NEXEA has invested in more than 35 Startups across Southeast Asia and is known for creating value in their investments. NEXEA is backed by experienced entrepreneurs who have done their M&As and IPOs or are CEOs of publicly listed companies. More importantly, they want to give back to the next wave of entrepreneurs.

Alan is part of the founding partners and Principle Advisor for NEXEA. He oversees developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives for the startups under NEXEA. He is part of the investment committee. He has advised and mentored countless companies in strategic growth and is also an expert in regional expansion.

Alan is the co-founder and former CEO of MediaBanc Group, the most extensive media monitoring and insights company in South-East-Asia since 1997. He exited the business mid-2014 when the company was listed in the ASX as iSentia Group Ltd. He has successfully grown a few startups regionally, noticeably Commsight, which manage to expand to Indonesia and Vietnam, with Thailand being in the pipeline.
